Who it's for

Operators who inherited a rig without ever getting a proper walkthrough, venues bringing in a new console who need their team up to speed, and production teams heading into a tour or a big show who want everyone working the same way on the same file.

What's covered

Fundamentals

Patch, groups, presets, and cue structure: the base a desk actually runs on. If you're new to grandMA3 or moving up from an older console, this is where training starts.

Advanced workflows

Phasers, recipes, macros, and timecode: the workflows that make a showfile fast to build and easy to hand off to someone else. Built around the same techniques used in real productions, not textbook examples.

Lua plugins

Custom Lua plugin programming for tools specific to your desk or your show. If a workflow keeps needing a manual workaround, this is usually where the fix lives.

Format and duration

Sessions can run from a focused few hours one-on-one on a specific topic to a multi-day deep dive for a whole team. They can happen at your venue if there's a console on-site, or with a previz setup, entirely without a rig. Tell me the group size and what you want to walk away knowing, and I'll put together a format and rough duration that fits.

Trainer

I'm Santeri Lehtonen, an MA certified lighting designer and grandMA3 programmer based in Helsinki, with console experience going back to the original grandMA series. Training comes out of what I actually use on real shows, not a fixed curriculum.
